Postcards from Teton Valley

One of my favorite places to visit every summer is Teton Valley, Idaho.  Located on the western slopes of the Tetons, it is a quiet little valley 20 minutes away from the crowds of Jackson Hole, WY.

The surrounding National Forest is full of hiking trails.

This year we hiked up Darby Canyon.  There is an ice cave at the top but we didn’t make it that far and stopped at the first waterfall.  The altitude was getting the better of us sea level inhabitants.
